Thang-Ta medallists feted

Bpr/Kak, December 30 2021: Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Moirang College on Thursday felicitated Puinabati Angom and Hanjabam Syllivia Devi for Gold medals at the recently concluded 27th National Thang-Ta Championship 2021 at the College Seminar Hall in Moirang.

The felicitation programme was participated by Moirang College, Associate Professors M Jugindro Singh and Kh Jugindro Singh as presidium members.

Moreover, Torbung United Club (TUC) on Wednesday also feted Puinabati Angom of Torbung Bazaar at Torbung Community Hall in Kumbi AC.

The programme was attended by Torbung GP pradhan, Ch Sanahanbi; uppa pradhan, L Ibohal Meitei; ward member, Hidam Ibemcha; Thoibi Thang-Ta Moirang principal, K Thoibi and A Ibemcha, mother of Puinabati Angom as presidium members.

Similarly, J Rengwar Lamkang, silver medallist of the recently concluded 27th National Thang-Ta Championship 2021 was also felicitated on Wednesday at Th Wangshul Memorial Hall in Thamlapokpi village.

J Rengwar Lamkang, son of J Monos Lamkang and Sk Shangtin Lamkang of Thamlapokpi village in Chandel district bagged the silver medal in 66 Kg category.

The event was attended by Th Beshang of Thamlapokpi Village as functional president and Thamlapokpi Baptist Church pastor, Ss Samson Silsi as blessing minister.
