L Rameshwor Meetei calls for concerted efforts to make Keirao, a model AC

Deputy Chairman of Manipur State Planning Board, Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei called for concerted efforts to make Keirao Assembly Constituency a model AC leading in advanced health care facilities.
He made the above statement while speaking during the felicitation programme organised by Youth Development Centre Club (YDCC), Keirao Bitra held at the building of the club today to felicitate him on receiving the Jagjivan Ram International Award-2021 and Bronze medallist of 3rd MK Classic Open Online International Taekwondo Championship, Kangabam Lenin from Keirao Mayai Leikai.
Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei who is also the MLA of Keirao AC also stated that the construction of Homeopathy Medical College will be completed soon which is build besides the AYUSH Hospital at Keirao Khunou.
It may be noted that the AYUSH Hospital is currently used as a Covid Hospital and a laboratory of Homeopathy has been inaugurated as well.
He maintained that Keirao Khunou will become the first place of its kind in NorthEast India where all the facilities of AYUSH will be found together.
Enumerating the developmental works in the AC, he said the Covid Hospital at Kyamgei is set to complete soon and all locals will be able to avail the facilities accordingly.
When the said hospitals starts functioning properly, Keirao AC will become an leading place in terms of health facilities, he added.
The MLA also stressed on the importance to instil a habit of extending help by all to the needy and underprivileged in villages and every locality at times of need and other medical emergencies.
He further gave assurance that the black topping of the road from Irilbung to Keirao Bitra Litan Makhong will begin soon once the rainy season is over.
Plannings and measures are underway to develop the education sector in Keirao AC as well, he added.
In today's programme, president of YDCC P Ibocha, advisors Mutum Dhananjoy and Mutum Jadumani also attended as the presidium members.
