TSE reporter selected for CAU's Scientific Journalism Programme

Staff Reporter of The Sangai Express, Konsam Samita Devi has been selected for the 5th Scientific Journalism Programme which willbeconductedfor4monthson the theme, "Artificial Intelligence and Its Uses" .
She was among three journalists of the State selected for the same.
The other journalists selected are- Thongam Premchand Singh, Senior Reporter of Poknapham and Tourangbam Bhaktacharya Singh, Staff Reporter of Impact TV.
Today, letters of approval were handed over to the three journalists during a simple function held at the office of Dr Indira Thounaojam, Head, Public Relations and Media Management Cell, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal.
The Scientific Journalism Programme is the brainchild of Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor of CAU, Imphal, whose vision is to disseminate the scientific knowledge and groundbreaking research findings of the university to the wider world.
According to Dr Indira Thounajoja, the success of this initiative has been made possible through the unwavering support and invaluable contributions of several esteemed mentors within the university.
She also express her deepest gratitude to Dr TR Sharma, Director of Instruction; LM Garnayak, Director of Research; Prof Ph Ranjit Sharma, Director of Extension; L Basanta Singh, Deputy Registrar; and the Deans of the constituent colleges of CAU Imphal for their guidance and support in ensuring the programme's success.
Appreciating the three journalists selected for the programme, Dr Indira said, "Their hard work, dedication, and exceptional contributions to the field of journalism have been truly inspiring.
They continue to uplift society with their work, and we encourage them to keep pushing forward with their remarkable efforts.
