PM, HM talk with CM, Biswajit on rebels' stand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have initiated a dialogue with Chief Minister N Biren, BJP Manipur Pradesh president K Bhabananda and Works Minister Th Biswajit on the rebel MLAs' demand for change of leadership.
The Chief Minister's camp said that the Centre is keen for all to work out their differences and let the Government function freely and properly and not be riven by differences.
At around 3 pm today, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah who is also BJP National president talked with Biren, Bhabananda and Biswajit one by one at the party's Delhi office.
However, details could not be ascertained as none of three BJP leaders from the State came out of the party office PM, HM talk till late evening.
Rebel MLAs who have been camping at Delhi too went to the party office but they could not meet any of the leaders, informed a source.
Nevertheless, information received from the Chief Minister's camp claimed that the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister while pointing out that there are BJP-led Governments both at the Centre and Manipur and the party's organisational election is going on, suggested all concerned to negotiate and allow the Government to function properly.
