Imphal, November 27 2011:
Clarifying that Henkholen Kipgen alias James Kuki was a deserter, the Kuki National Front (KNF) has denied the allegations of their involvement in the abduction case of the SBI Leimakhong Branch Manager.
Speaking to media persons at Ebenezer Peace Camp, Natheljang village today, KNF general secretary Aaron H Kipgen produced documents and joint inspection report regarding presence of cadres in designated camps (SoO) at Camp Ebenezer by Police and Assam Rifles on September 13, 2011 where Henkholen alias James Kuki was reported as a deserter.
Henkholen alias James has no revolutionary ethics and could not abide by the SoO ground rules.
He has no place in KNF and his name does not appear on the latest revised list of cadres of the organisation.
These facts can be confirmed from the concerned police station, said Aaron H Kipgen.
As such, the KNF is not responsible for Henkholen alias James and his activities, the general secretary asserted.
He appealed to the media, the State and the public not to blame KNF for the activities carried out by Henkholen alias James.
He stated that Henkholen alias James would be dealt with as per the revolutionary law of the KNF.
He thanked Manipur commandos for unveiling the secret plan of floating another faction within the Kuki society.
The KNF general secretary also expressed sympathy to the victimised Bank Manager and his family.
