BJP to highlight State crisis to President, PM

BJP leader Sunil Deodhar, who is currently camping in Imphal to study the people's untold sufferings owing to the intensified economic blockade on the National Highways, has said the matter would be highlighted to the President and Prime Minister for immediate redressal.
"As asked by our party president Nitin Gadkari, I'll submit a report to him after which he would highlight the same to the President and Prime Minister for immediate intervention into it to overcome the commodity crisis," Deodhar said at a media conference here on Tuesday.
Deodhar, who is the convener of the party's 'North East India Samparak Cell' said other purposes of his Manipur stint include chalking out a framework for preparing the party's ' India Vision Document 2025' and to work out for expanding the 'Samparak cell' across the country.
Deodhar , who landed here on Sunday, has so far held hordes of meetings with leaders of different communities and civil bodies on the current crisis and other agendas concerning 'Vision document Manipur 2005' and Samparak cell.
He is leaving Imphal on Wednesday and the following day he would submit his report to the party president.
In one of the visions considered for Manipur, Deodhar said "having acknowledged the sports potentiality and the production of first state athletes in the state, we are looking forward to make Manipur, the sports capital of the nation" .
He said party leader LK Advani will come to Manipur during his nationwide anti-corruption Rath Yatra .
