Imphal sweats under 35.11 degree celsius

Imphal sweated under 35.11 degree celsius today, as per a report from the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.
This is a sharp increase from 33.3 degree celsius recorded on the same day last year according to ICAR.
A report from the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change explained that the highest temperature recorded in Imphal West was 35.11 degree and the lowest was 20.96 degree while the highest for Imphal East was 34.65 degree with the lowest temperature being 22.64 degree.
For Bishnupur, the highest temperature today was 32.12 and the lowest recorded was 22.49 degree while the highest temperature for Churachandpur was 34.65 degree and the lowest was 21.79 degree.
On the other hand, Kakching recorded a highest temperature of 32.37 degree and a lowest of 20.37 while Kangpokpi recorded a highest of 32.22 degree and a lowest of 21.75 degree.
At Noney, the temperature was a sweltering 36.81 at the highest and 23.86 at the lowest.
For Senapati, the highest temperature today was 33.52 degree while the lowest was recorded at 18.38 degree.
Senapati received a rainfall of 0.1 mm, the report added.
Today, Tamenglong reached a highest temperature of 29.17 degree and a lowest temperature of 21.03 degree.
Tengnoupal reached 36.79 at the highest and 19.94 degree at the lowest while Ukhrul registered a highest temperature of 27.62 degree today and a lowest temperature of 17.31 degree.
It may be mentioned that as per the report of the Directorate, Imphal registered a highest temperature of 34.85 degree Celsius yesterday.
