Imphal, November 25 2011: District Family Welfare Officer, Imphal East organised a healthy baby and best mother competition for the district at Porompat yesterday.

Ngahneichong Felicia Kipgen s/o Ngammunlun Kipgen, Naorem Birjit Meitei s/o Premjit and Thiyam Joyraj (Shinson) s/o Kadamb won first, second and third prizes respectively in the category of 6 to 11 months.

In the 12 to 23 months category, Yumnam Kumkum d/o Bedabrata, Yumnam Manichandra s/o Ojit and Soubam Hayee Meetei s/o Taibangamba got first, second and third prizes respectively.

Chun Thingbaijam s/o Binoy, Churchill Thingbaijam s/o Binoy and Chanambam Trusty s/o Surajkumar got first, second and third prizes in the category of 2 to 3 years category.

In the best mother competition, Themlaldin w/o Ngamminniun Kipgen of New Lambulane, Soubam Sanajaobi Leima w/o Taibangamba of Achanbigei and Irom Asharani w/o Binoy of Top Awang Leikai got first, second and third prizes respectively.
