First graduation day of Eklavya Model Residential School held

Kangpokpi, May 24 2019: Eklavya Model Residential School, Gamnom Saparmeina in Kangpokpi District organized its first 'Graduation Day' after scripting numerous records in education sector here today at the school campus.

The Graduation Day was graced by ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing as chief guest while PH Mahesh Narain, IPS, SP Kangpokpi and Thanglen Kipgen, president, EMRS Parents' Association as dignitaries.

Dr Ngamkhohao Haokip, principal cum administrator of the school, parents and guardians, village chiefs, CSOs leaders also attended the graduation day apart from all the successful students of HSLC and HSE examinations, 2019 from the school.

Maintaining its excellent performance every year in HSLC and HSE examinations, EMRS Gamnom Saparmeina once again retained its 100 per cent pass percentage in both HSLC and HSE examinations this year too with all the students securing letter marks at least in one or two subjects and some securing subject toppers.

In HSE (Science), altogether 31 students appeared the exam and they all passed in first division securing letter marks at least in two subjects while 28 students who appeared in the Arts stream also secured first division with 20 students securing letter marks in at least one or two subjects.

In HSLC, all the 22 students secured first division with letter marks in at least two subjects each while some also secured the state subject toppers.

Notably, EMRS Gamnom Saparmeina is the only Government run educational institutions in the district, if not in the entire state, having excellent performance in the education sector so far.

All the successful students were impressively feted during the graduation day ceremony .
