CM inaugurates Shri Shri Bangsibudon temple

Thoubal, November 23 2015: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi formally inaugurated the Shri Shri Bangsibudon temple at Thoubal Khangabok today, our correspondent reports.

The inaugural event was attended by Social Welfare and Co-operative Minister AK Mirabai, Khangabok A/C MLA O Landhoni, Thoubal zilla parishad adakshya Kh Surnalata, Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal T Ranjit and Khangabok Gram Panchayat pradhan.

Speaking at the occasion the Chief Minister said the State Government is working on renovating major religious places in the State.

The CM also assured provision of needed funds to refurbish Shri Shri Bangsibudon temple in the future.

Laishram Basanta, the person who donated Shri Shri Bangsibudon temple was honoured with small a token by the CM during the event.
