Imphal, February 23 2016: In pursuance of the common points agreed at the meeting of the Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and Members of ADCs on Feb 16, where a Coordination Committee was formed to coordinate the various developmental activities of the six ADCs, another round of consultative meeting was again held yesterday at Hotel Imphal.

According to a statement issued by Genneikhup Vaiphei, EM, ADC, CCpur and convenor, Coordination Committee for ADCs, Manipur, the meeting was attended by the Coordinating Committee members, Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen.

The meeting discussed in details the present inadequate devolution of power to the ADCs by the Govt of Manipur, limitations of the District Council Act, present political situation, etc.

The meeting unanimously resolved to hold another round of consultative meeting to be attended by the Executive Committee members of six ADCs and Coordination Committee at Churachandpur on March 3, it added.
