New executives of NPO take charge

New executives of the Naga People's Organization (NPO) led by Kuba Peter as the new president took charge on Saturday.
The oath of secrecy was administered by A Adani Khrasi, Chief Election Commission, NPO in the presence of the former executives and different tribe leaders at NPO Conference Hall, Senapati.
Solomon Arow, the outgoing President while congratulating the new team expressed gratitude to the election commission for having completed all the election process in time.
He urged the new team to keep a better relationship with other Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) of the hills and the valley.
He also assured to assist the new team in any matter.

The newly elected president, Kuba Peter in his speech called the day an important gathering and thanked all the outgoing executives of the NPO who have done their best for the welfare of the people during their tenure.
Assuring to follow the footsteps of the outgoing team, Kuba Peter said that the aim of the organisation is to bring peace in the region.
He also honoured the other two presidential candidates ensuring to work together with them for the welfare of the organization as well as the district.
RK Aaron, Member of the Election Commission, NPO in his concluding remarks hoped and prayed to bring peace and prosperity in the district by the new team of the NPO.
All related files have been handed over to the new executives of the Naga People's Organization (NPO), he added.
