Dimapur, January 20 2013 :
Extended Christmas vacation of NSCN-IM chairman Isak Chisi Swu and the outfit's general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah seems to be winding up in Nagaland.
Chairman Isak Chisi Swu is reportedly leaving Nagaland on January 22 while Thuingaleng Muivah may follow suit.
However, the exact date when Th Muivah is leaving Nagaland is not certain.
"Our general secretary is likely to leave by the end of this month," a senior NSCN-IM leader disclosed to Newmai News Network this evening.
Meanwhile, it is speculated that there could be new developments in New Delhi with regard to the talks.
The two NSCN-IM leaders were to leave Dimapur on January 12 but since the 'home-works' kept piling up they had postponed their programme.
Reports said actually Isak Swu and Muivah were waiting for a call from New Delhi.
A different source however said Isak Chisi Swu's plan to leave Nagaland on January 22 for New Delhi is prompted by a 'personal assignment'.
But still a well placed source put it otherwise.
Whatever may be the case, there have been serious speculations that a 'fresh news' in connection with the Indo-Naga peace process is likely soon.
However, top NSCN-IM leaders continue to remain tight-lipped on the matter.
