Imphal, March 16 2016:
Accusing the Government of India of launching a series of hidden agenda to subdue the armed movement in the region and the State, the proscribed RPF today alleged that the Government of India has been tempting the youngsters of Manipur with drugs (heroin), resulting in many youth succumbing to HIV/AIDS, addicting them to substances, spoiling their morale, encouraging them to cheat, steal and loot and with other enticements.
In a statement, the outfit said that it has been launching a series of movement to save the youngsters from the jaws of intoxicating substances and to save their morale.
Dubbing the Govt as 'Delhi bandits', the outfit claimed that to blunt the movement of the RPF, the Government has launched a series of agenda including arming some of them with guns (license).
The ploy is not to let the people defend themselves but to pitch the people against the revolutionaries.
Apart from deploying a large number of troops including the army, para military, Manipur police, Manipur Rifles, IRB and VDF personnel, the Government has been arming a number of people, including some cadres of groups which have signed the SoO pact, alleged RPF.
The ploy is to use these elements in CI Ops.
According to the ground rules of SoO the arms of the cadres of are to be deposited in a safe house and one key each should be with the cadres and the Govt, it said.
