BABINA Group launches 'Paamel Foundation' for marginalised sections of society

Imphal, January 15 2022: 'Paamel Foundation', a registered charitable organisation with the aim to support the development of underprivileged sections of the society was formally launched today in a function held at the Classic Hotel, North AOC.

The foundation was launched by the Babina Group of Companies, a conglomerate of entities operating in the fields of healthcare and hospitality industries.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, MD of Babina Group of Companies said that Paamel, literally meaning 'tree' is symbolic of the organisation's vision of giving or planting hope to the marginalised people, ensuring their basic rights and enhancing their dignity of life through health, education, sports and economic development.

He further maintained that Babina Group is aimed at providing innovative solutions and support in the areas of health, education, sports and economic welfare will be achieved through 'Paamel Foundation' and expressed belief that the Foundation will draw its strengths from the success of the Babina Group in its endeavours and bring tangible change and improvement in the lives of the marginalised sections of the society.
