RPF shows deepest gratitude

Proscribed RPF on Monday expressed deepest gratitude to all people who offered floral tributes at the memorial complex of 'martyrs' at Chingmeirong Cheiraoching, Thangmeiband and other such sites on the occasion of "Athoubashing-gi Numit" (Martyrs' Day) .
"The RPF is grateful to the brethren of the hills, young and old, imas (mothers), brother and sisters, members of local clubs, association, institutions and other organizations for participating in the Martyrs' Day observance," said a statement of Roben Khuman, secretary publicity, RPF.

It also thanked the media, transporters, doctors, nurses and other staff, brothers residing in and around the Cheiraoching and those who arranged a resting site for children and also personnel of Manipur Police for extending valuable service to people on the occasion.
Athoubashing-gi Numit was also marked at the outfit's council headquarters, general headquarters, PLA, tactical command, strategic command, 252 mobile battalion and all stations and central bureau, SR-1, SR-2, SR-3 and SR-4 where homage was paid to all the martyrs of the outfit, the statement said.
