Imphal East Police celebrates Ningol Chakouba

Imphal, November 12 2015: Imphal East District Police led by its Superintendent of Police (SP) Kamei Angam Romanus on Thursday invited womenfolk from various communities to a feast to observe the Ningol Chakouba festival at Porompat SP Office Complex.

This is the fourth time, the festival organised has been organised by the Imphal East District Police.

The women were accorded a warm welcome by the SP.

He extended his greetings and wished all peace, harmony, unity and integration.

Women who participated at the event also praised Kamei Angam Romanus for organising such festival and said that such events will help in the integration of communities living together in the State.
