Free health camp held

Imphal, July 12 2014 : Mrs.T Chhuni Memorial Free Health Camp sponsored by the managing director of Raj Medicity was held today at the hall of the Young Paite Association, GHQ.

While inaugurating the free health camp, the Health and Family Welfare Minister Phungjathang Tonsing stated that the free health camp is not conducted by the Govt.of Manipur but it is organised by the Young Paite Association under the sponsorship of the Raj Medicity, Imphal.

The Minister lauded the managing director of Raj Medicity for providing health care services by sponsoring the medical camp free of cost with specialist, super specialist doctors and more than 75 support staff.

The managing director of Raj Medicity H Rajen Singh expressed that the Raj Medicity has rendered medical services free of cost to the victims of the bomb blast which was occurred in the month June of this year and further added the free medical is organising in memory of late T Mrs.Chhuni in recognition of the deeds she had done with dedication for the betterment of the society.

During the medical camp, doctors specialized in medicine, general surgery, plastic and reconstruction surgery, cardio thoracic surgery, orthopedic and PMR, obstetrics and gynecology, neuro-sciences, pediatric, ENT, radiology have provided health check up and medical services to more than 1000 patients.

The Singhat A/C MLA Ginsuanhau and the Deputy Commissioner of the district PK Jha were also present during the health camp.
