Imphal, October 08 2015:
The proscribed PREPAK has blamed the geopolitics of ethnic expansionism pursued by some elements who have been entrapped by the alien rule and patronised by the Government for the inter-community conflicts among Nagas, Kukis and Meiteis.
It is this geopolitics of ethnic expansionism which has landed all the people of Kangleipak (Manipur) in a deep sea of misery.
A statement issued by PREPAK Acting Chairman Kh Sathy on the occasion of the outfit's 38th raising day (October 9) alleged that the Government has been playing a political game using communal cards in their efforts to suppress the liberation movement of Kangleipak.
Following the birth of Nagaland after Tuensang district was brought within Naga Hills, the Government of India's conspiracy to distort the geo-political structure of neighbouring States like Kangleipak, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh has now reached the pinnacle.
New Delhi has somehow forged some sort of unity among the hill people only to pitch them against the majority community.
This is a major achievement for the Government of India for inter-community conflicts among the ethnic groups of kangleipak is much more beneficial to it while keeping the political boundary of Kangleipak in tact.
Such political strategy of the Government of India directly contravenes the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948.When Somalians settled in Ethiopia and Kenya demanded integration with Somalia, the entire world opposed the same demand.
On the other hand, a large number of Palestinians are settled in different neighbouring Arab countries but they never demanded those parts of Arab countries settled by Palestinians for integration with Palestine.
However, the Government of India, driven by a hidden agenda, by grooming some elements who are expansionists to the core and who have never lived as a nation, has been conspiring relentlessly to destroy Kangleipak totally which had been a sovereign nation for more than 2000 years.
While conveying deepest regards to all the people of Kangleipak, the acting Chairman also extended best wishes to all member parties of CorCom, revolutionary groups of WESEA and the media fraternity.
PREPAK is pained to see that the future of Kangleipak has become quite bleak after it was forcibly merged into the Indian Union.
The socio-economic condition of Kangleipak has deteriorated to the extreme in the last 66 years under the alleged colonial rule.
The integrity of Kangleipak, its geographical boundary, the age old bond of fraternity shared between hill people and plain people, language, culture, workmanship, agriculture, economy, environment and identity are on the verge of total collapse and disappearance.
On account of wedges driven by outsiders, hill people and plain people seem to be moving apart.
It seems the present generations of hill people and plain people have forgotten the historical fact that Kangleipak was built up by the united and collective efforts of their ancestors.
Now the alien regime's divide and rule policy has pulled apart the hill people and plain people so much that they see each other as 'outsiders'.
This grim situation is a result of the Government of India's hidden agenda is evidenced from the direct challenges posed to the integrity of India through the Constitution of India, it alleged.
It is the Constitution of India which has been creating divisions and conflicts among the people of Kangleipak.
There have been many instances where the alleged colonial regime's conspiracy to ignite communal confrontations proved successful.
Another disastrous consequence of the alleged colonial rule is loss of work culture among the indigenous people.
This loss of work culture is not something which comes on its own.
It is a result of denying social security which is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
At the same, Manipuri society was influenced a lot by mainstream Indian politicians and their stooges who are accustomed to bribery, nepotism and hedonism.
The only way which can effectively redress this malady is a socio-economic and political revolution.
From being a Nation State, Manipur was reduced to the status of a Part C State whereas Kashmir was given a special status.
After Manipur was allegedly annexed into the Indian Union, Manipur's territory has been shrinking.
A substantial part of Manipur was gifted to a neighbouring country by Jawaharlal Nehru on March 29, 1953 without consulting the people of Kangleipak and the State Government just to appease the neighbouring country.
Kangleipak territorial size was 22,556 Sq Kms in 1949.It shrunk to 22,347 Sq Kms in 1961 and finally to 22,327 Sq Kms in 1981 .
Even though there have been repeated reports clashes between neighbouring villages across Kangleipak-Nagaland border due to boundary disputes, the Government of India has never bothered to settle these disputes.
Moreover, many areas located along boundaries with neighbouring countries remain unsettled.
All these grave situations are results of forced annexation of Kangleipak into the Indian Union, alleged the acting Chairman.
