Congress workers' conference at Noney

A number of precious lives were lost and even the Assembly Building was razed a decade ago during the BJP's Govt under a gentleman, Dy CM Gaikhangam said.
Refering to BJP Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi's visit to the State today, Gaikhangam said all ears are on the outcome of the visit today while cautioning all concerned to remain awake.
He was speaking at the district level Congress Workers' Conference of Tamenglong DCC cum Block Level Congress Workers' Conference of Tamei, Tamenglong and Nungba BCCs today at Noney.
He said that Congress is not only a political party, but a huge mass movement.
The party upholds the principle of secularism.

He urged the public to avail all developmental projects and schemes implemented by the Govt.He said that Manipur would witness a change in all front under the Congress Govt.The State could not be run by other parties than the Congress.
The conference today was attended by Parliamentary Secretary Victor Keishing, who is also the General Secretary of MPCC; Khangthuanang Panmei, PCC member and Z Kikhonbou Newmai, VC of HAC.
Leaders and workers of the DCC and BCCs have attended the programme.
