Ukhrul, September 06 2023: Cadres of NSCN-IM under Law & Order - WTR (Wung Tangkhul Region) destroyed over 600 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in the presence of Tangkhul Shanao Long (TSL) and Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) leaders at Harkuikathe, Ukhrul town yesterday.

According to Convener, WTR- Law & Order, an Ukhrul bound DI Truck coming from Dimapur was intercepted and apprehended a person and seized the huge quantity of liquor from their possession.

The person has been identified as Tuingam Ronra (38 yrs) from Poi village currently residing at Kahumtang, Ukhrul.

He is under WTR custody for further investigation.

Law & order Convener of WTR also informed that the cadres were deployed in strategic points to check the transportation of illicit items in Tangkhul region to prevent anti social elements in the region for a peaceful environment.
