SOREPA celebrates raising day

Imphal, October 02 2024: The Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA) Kangleipak celebrated its raising day on Tuesday at its head office, central headquarters, battalion headquarters, tactical headquarters and all mobile units.

The main function was held at the head office with the outfit's chairman as functional president, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit's publicity and organisation secretary MC Yaifabi.

The raising day celebration held at the central headquarters was graced by the outfit's Military Affairs Secretary Col Chingyang and People's Revolutionary Army's (PRA) Chief of Army Staff Lt Col Thoiba Mangang as functional presidents.

Hoisting of the party's flag, offering revolutionary salute to all the revolutionaries who have died in the course of the revolutionary movement and reading out of the Chairman's message were the main and common highlights of the raising day celebrations, it said.

It said that several events/functions were also held together with farmers, workers and the volunteers who have been keeping a close vigil to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur.
