CSOs to help streamline Sadar Hills administration

Civil society organizations of Sadar Hills including JAC Sadar Hills under the leadership of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills resolved to maintain and streamline the administration of Sadar Hills in a joint meeting today at Kangpokpi.
The meeting held under the leadership of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills was attended by all block Inpi's of Sadar Hills, KSO Sadar Hills and its constituent units, Kuki Women Union and its constituent units, TSA Sadar Hills, social workers, JAC Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization and Kangpokpi Youth Union.
Speaking by the sideline of the meeting, Seikhomang Khongsai, president, Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills said the joint meeting collectively resolved that encroachers of land allotted to Government and unauthorized occupants of Government quarters in all sub-divisions of Sadar Hills should be evacuated within February.
"We have also unanimously resolved that all DLOs/Department/Office who attended somewhere at Imphal instead of their respective allocated place should immediately attend office in their respective designated stations within February, Seikhomang Khongsai added.
He also warned that Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills along with CSOs will initiate action against officials and staff of any office found irregular.
The Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills and CSOs also urged those involved in kidnapping for ransom in Sadar Hills to immediately stop such activities considering the insecurity of the people dwelling in Sadar Hills while resolving that the Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills and civil bodies will no more tolerate such unlawful activities in future.
