Imphal, November 30 2011:
Claiming that whereabouts of her husband namely Mangcha Misao (31) remains unknown since he was reportedly picked up by a combined team of central paramilitary force, Neishi Misao made a fervent appeal to all concerned for revealing where Mangcha is being confined.
Speaking to some newspersons today, Neishi maintained that Mangcha was staying at the house of one Jamtil Guite in Canaan village, which lies on the Indo-Myanmar border, when a combined team of Grenadier Army led by Major Tiger posted at Molcham village, and 36 Assam Rifles stationed at Old Samtal raided the house on November 25 night.
Contending that Mangcha was picked up by the combined team along with a minor boy namely Paolenlal Guite s/o Jamtil, after forcibly smashing the front door, the distraught wife confided that she and family members have enquired on Mangcha's whereabouts at every police station but to no avail till date.
Further claiming that the combined security team was accompanied by some civilians at the time of Mangcha's arrest, Neishi suspected the civilians might be surrendered militants working with the Central security force.
Conceding that her search of every police station was with the belief that the Central force ought to hand over any arrested person at the nearest police station, the mother of four children appealed to authorities concerned for ensuring safe and sound release of Mangcha and Paolenlal at the earliest on humanitarian ground.
