'Go to Village' Mission is bridging gap between public and govt: Minister Shyamkumar

Forest and Environment Minister Thounaojam Shyamkumar today attended the phase five of 'Khungang Chatse - Go To Village' camp organised by the District Administration Imphal East at the Angtha community hall, Angtha, Lemba Khul under the Angtha Gram Panchayat, Andro Assembly Constituency, Imphal East.
Addressing the media persons, the Minister said that the mission launched by the Hon'ble Chief Minister N.Biren Singh has brought the various Govt.schemes at the doorsteps of the public, bringing transparency between the Government and the public.
He sought cooperation from the local elected members and the officers while discharging their duties.

The Minister also stated that 'Khungang Chatse - Go To Village' Mission, is aiding the local bodies in delivering the schemes to the beneficiaries.
Minister Shyamkumar urged the department officials to sincerely work towards making the Mission a success for the welfare of the people of Manipur.
He also sought support from the public to help the Government in implementing the various schemes for the beneficiaries and take benefits of the schemes related to social benefits, health, education and identification of left out eligible beneficiaries for inclusion in Government programmes of housing, old age pension among others.
Altogether 32 stalls of different departments/offices were set up in the camp today and beneficiaries were given benefits under various schemes.
