Imphal, November 24 2019:
An 18 member team of COCOMI will leave Imphal for New Delhi tomorrow to hold a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Six members of the COCOMI team will proceed to New Delhi on an Indigo flight tomorrow at 2.30 pm .
The six members of COCOMI are, Th Somorendro, S Rajenkumar, Ph Nando Luwang, L Thoithoi Singh, L Ratankumar Singh and Jeetendra Ningomba.
Meanwhile, COCOMI has clarified that there is no question of lifting the boycott of Manipur Sangai Festival 2019 .
Earlier before the 'clarification' was made, confusion reigned with many not really knowing whether COCOMI has lifted the boycott call or not.

To complicate matter more, a press conference convened by COCOMI at the office of UCM today at 1.30 pm was not held as no responsible leader of COCOMI was available to address the media.
Notably, different comments were posted on social media after a photocopy of hand-written resolutions of a purported COCOMI meeting which says that the boycott of Sangai festival had been lifted was circulated in social media.
Ahead of their meeting with Amit Shah, a joint meeting of COCOMI executive members and consultative members was held today at the Lamphelpat office of UCM.
Notably, a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Secretariat last evening said that the Union Home Minister has given time for a meeting with COCOMI representatives and the State Government has decided to convene the winter session of State Assembly from December 20 .
A resolution to reiterate the integrity stand of Manipur may be adopted in the session.
It then appealed to COCOMI to withdraw their decision of boycotting the Manipur Sangai Festival 2019.The COCOMI has been spearheading sustained mass protest movements against any possible negative impact of Naga solution on Manipur.
As part of the mass protest movement, COCOMI decided to boycott the Sangai festival.
