Counting of votes would be done on 10 tables at the respective district headquarters from 8 am onward.
It is reported that necessary security measures have been put in place at both the DC offices so as to ward off any untoward incident.

Repoll held in Torban Kshetri Leikai Primary School was peaceful and went off smoothly.
On the other hand, BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary (administration) M Ashnikumar has reiterated that both the Congress candidates would bite the dust.
Congress party would not be able to sway voters this time through their usual tactics of using muscle and money power.
Results of the by-election would demonstrate that people have already rejected Congress party, claimed Ashnikumar.
He went on to predict that BJP would lead in 27 polling stations out of the total 41 polling stations of Thangmeiband AC.
Likewise, BJP would secure more votes than the Congress party in 30 polling stations of Thongju AC which has 45 polling stations in total.
As such, BJP is expecting landslide victory in both the Assembly segments, he exuded.
