The count in single digit continues with five persons testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours with a single day positivity rate of 1.6 per cent.
Significantly, the State didn't report any Covid case on Friday for the first time since the onset of the first wave of the pandemic.
Altogether 311 samples were tested in the period.
Of the fresh Covid cases, two are residents of Imphal West while the remaining are from Bishnupur (1), Imphal East (1) and Kangpokpi (1) .
None died due to Covid infections in the period, as per the bulletin.
With the addition of five fresh cases, the number of active cases has risen to 27 while the total figure of positive cases reached 1,37,210 .
In terms of Covid vaccination, as many as eight districts in Manipur have not vaccinated even half of its eligible population with the 2nd dose and they are Kangpokpi (16.76 pc); Ukhrul (24.04 pc); Kamjong (28.44 pc); Senapati (30.23 pc); Tamenglong (34.36 pc); Noney (34.50 pc); Pherzawl (36.56 pc) and Tengnoupal (36.94) .
Overall, the State has partially vaccinated 61.64 per cent of its eligible population while 51.13 per cent has received two doses of Covid vaccine.
Today, at least four persons were discharged from Home Isolation and as such the number of recovered cases has climbed to 1,35,063 while the recovery rate is 98.44 per cent.
When it comes to Covid beds availability, JNIMS has 299 unoccupied beds while RIMS has 190 .

Meanwhile, the State distributed 156 D-type and 9 B-type oxygen cylinders to different health care facilities in Manipur and administered 3039 doses of Covid vaccine .
