Imphal, October 20 2019:
After a joint meeting of all the legislators of the BJP-led coalition Government was held today, a meeting of all political parties has been convened on October 22 on the final solution to the Naga peace talk which is most likely to be signed by the end of the current month.
With Chief Minister N Biren in the chair, legislators of the coalition Government held a meeting at the Chief Minister's conference hall this morning and deliberated on the reports that a final agreement to the protracted political dialogue going on between the Government of India and NSCN-IM would be signed by October 31 .

The meeting resolved that any solution to the Naga peace talk should not affect the integrity of Manipur in any manner.
The ruling legislators also agreed to forward the same resolution to the Government of India.
Taking serious note of Nagaland Governor and Government of India's Interlocutor RN Ravi's announcement that a final solution would be sealed by the end of the current month, the meeting deliberated on the possible impacts of the solution on Manipur.
Sources informed that the collective wish of the people of Manipur and the State Government's position on any solution to the Naga peace talk would be highlighted unambiguously before Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy who would be arriving here tomorrow.
The meeting also took serious note of the assurance given earlier by the Government of India that the Government of Manipur would be consulted before working out a final solution to the Naga peace talk.
A representation which categorically states that the integrity of Manipur which has been there since ages should not be disturbed by the Naga peace process and any communal policy or arrangement would not be accepted was sent to the Prime Minister today.
Meanwhile, the State Government has convened a meeting of all political parties on October 22 to discuss the unfolding situation.
The Government has also been planning another meeting with civil society organisations before any final solution to the Naga peace talk is signed.
