5 more test positive

Imphal, February 19 2021:
Five persons tested positive for COVID-19 while three persons recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of cases has reached 29,230 with 85 active cases.
With zero deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains at 373 .
The total number of recovered cases has reached 28,772 and the recovery rate stands at 98.43 percent.
The 5 persons who tested positive hail from Imphal West (1), Ukhrul (1), Churachandpur (2) and Thoubal (1), said a report of the COVID-19 Common Control Room issued by Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang today.
On the other hand, 2751 people were vaccinated today taking the cumulative number of people vaccinated to 38484 which include 28863 healthcare workers.
Meanwhile, the female Anganwadi worker, 48, from Kumbi Terakhong in Bishnupur district, who died 7 days after vaccination had complained of rashes and fever.
The exact cause of her death will be known only after autopsy, said the Government report.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases is 29,230 including 25,798 civilians and 3432 Central security personnel.
The total number of recovered cases is 28,772 including 25,355 civilians and 3417 Central security personnel.
The number of active cases is 85 including 74 civilians and 11 Central security personnel.
