State records 2 positive cases

Imphal, March 18 2021:
Even though the State's recovery rate from COVID-19 stands at 98.63 per cent, two persons were tested positive at JNIMS and Babina Diagnostics during the last 24 hours.
According to a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, the two civilians who have been tested positive are residents of Imphal East.
The death toll remains unchanged at 373 as there is no report of COVID related death during the last 24 hours.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,325 (general population 25,890 and Central security personnel 3,435) .
This figure includes 28 active cases (general population 26 and Central security personnel 2) and 28,924 recovered cases (general population 25,495 and Central security personnel 3,429) .
On the other hand, the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the State has reached 78,662 after 843 were inoculated yesterday.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated against the virus till date is 30,958 .
