He appealed to all Naga political groups to come together by forgetting all the past that have happened.
The strength of O Ibobi lies in his State security forces and militarization of tribal areas and killing of innocent civilians but the strength of the Naga people rests on the unique history of the Nagas and its situation, he claimed.
The memorandum strongly condemned the merciless killing of 9 innocent civilians at Churachandpur district Hqs consequent upon the passing of anti-Naga and tribal Bills and Resolutions on August 31 by Manipur Legislative Assembly to furthermore suppress, oppress and exploit the tribal people and also to grab the lands of the Nagas and tribal people.
The Naga people of Chandel district under the aegis of UNC and Naga Frontal Organisations decided to urge the GoI to translate and expedite the framework agreement of the Indo-Naga historic peace accord to its logical conclusion without which it is impossible for the Naga tribals to protect, defend and safeguard their lives, land, history, identity, tradition, culture and time honoured institution under the present Government of Manipur.
