No force can destroy unity of India, Manipur: Biren

Chief Minister N Biren has categorically stated that no force on earth can destroy the unity of Manipur and India.
The Chief Minister made this statement at the flag off ceremony of a Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Bike Rally organised by Manipur Police in commemoration of the 78th Independence Day of India.
The bike rally flagged off from Hapta Kangjeibung at 8.30 am went up to Moirang Chingei Lampak near the INA complex.
Around 2000 bikes and 4000 youth including players of Youth Affairs and Sports Department, volunteers of bike (Bullet) rider groups, Assam Rifles, Army and BJP workers took part in the rally.
Chief Minister N Biren stated that the National Tricolour would be hoisted at every house under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with the primary objective of building a united and strong India.
Saying that the Government is fully aware of the people's suffering on account of the protracted crisis, Biren reiterated that the Government has been working hard to restore peace and normalcy at the earliest.
Several measures, some of which can be disclosed and some others which cannot be disclosed, have been taken up by the Government to bring peace, he said.
The Government has been working hard to enable all the displaced people belonging to different communities return to their original places and facilitate peaceful coexistence, he continued.
Communities may express their wills and aspirations but there is no question of compromising the State's integrity, the Chief Minister asserted.
No force on earth can destroy the unity of Manipur and India for the people as well as the Government are committed to safeguard the State's and the country's integrity at all costs, he said.
He stated that every citizen must contribute towards building a united and strong India.
IPR Minister Dr Sapam Ranjan, Special Additional Chief Secretary MH Khan, DGP Rajiv Singh and other top ranking police officials were also present at the flag off ceremony.
