He said that even the CBSE is still unable to declare results of Class X examination.
Although no Government school student could make it to the top 25 merit list, one should not be disheartened for the Government's aim is not restricted to producing toppers but is equally committed to rise the pass percentage, he said.

Saying that maximum efforts would be invested to accommodate all the students who have cleared Class X exam, the Education Minister stressed the need for Government schools to work harder so as to produce toppers in the coming years.
Informing that more than 8000 posts of teachers are currently vacant, Basantakumar said that the vacant posts of teachers would be filled to the maximum possible level.
He said that a pilot project has been initiated to impart moral education to students.
As per an advice of the Chief Minister, a command and control office of education would be opened soon.
