Imphal, August 07 2015 :
The All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has asked the Government of India to put all the details of the peace accord it signed with NSCN-IM on August 3 in the public domain.
Speaking to media persons at their Kwakeithel office today, AMUCO president Dr Y Mani Khuman remarked that bringing a solution to the 18 years old peace talk merits appreciation from one perspective.
However, AMUCO, in view of the way how the peace accord was signed in complete secrecy without taking into confidence any of the North Eastern States, is compelled to assume that the incumbent Government of India is nothing but authoritarian dictatorship.
In case the peace accord infringes upon the collective interests of Manipur, AMUCO would carry on its mission of safeguarding the integrity of Manipur.

New Delhi must acknowledge the historical rights and historical importance of Manipur.
New Delhi should not ever commit the blunder of fragmenting Manipur which has its written history spanning over more than 2000 years apart from enjoying sovereignty with well-defined political boundary before it was merged with the Indian Union.
Both MoS (Home) Kiren Rijiju's and BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba's assurances about maintaining statu quo of Manipur's boundary deserve outright condemnation for they were just hoodwinking the masses, Dr Mani said.
There may be several forms of autonomy but AMUCO opposes any political arrangement which sidelines or overlooks the State Government's administration.
The incumbent Chief Minister and his Council of Ministers should gather all the details of the peace accord as soon as possible.
In case the Government of India chooses to keep the details of the peace accord a secret, AMUCO is all prepared to launch different forms of civil movements, Dr Mani added.
