JAC asks schools for condolence meeting as it re-open today

The JAC Churachandpur has requested schools and colleges in the district to conduct condolence meeting as a mark of respect to the departed tribal martyrs as the educational institutions are set to re-open tomorrow, after a month long disruption, albeit till noon.
As requested by leaders of various village committees/authorities and women groups in a joint meeting organised by the JAC, educational institutions are to re-open from Monday, October 5, 2015 said a statement issued by the JAC that asked schools and colleges to conduct the condolence meeting.

They have also requested village welfare committees, village authorities, women folks and dharna point leaders to maintain a peaceful and conducive study atmosphere for the students.
As schools and colleges are set to resume their classes tomorrow, there are several instances of informal statements being circulated on numerous social media that called for students to keep away from their schools despite the JAC's relaxation.
To thwart any attempt to prevent schools and colleges resuming their classes, three student bodies, KSO Churachandpur, HSA Joint Hqtrs and ZSF have independently back the JAC's efforts and called for resumption of classes without any interruption even as they warned of stern action against any individual seeking to disrupt the positive steps taken by the JAC for the sake of the student community.
Meanwhile the JAC, it is learnt, has clarified that it had not received any invitation or intimation for the joint meeting convened by KIM at KIC office on October 1, 2015 and has at the same time maintained that it had not deputed any representative for the same.
