Alan's Tracks: Music and Lyrics

From the quiet guitar and vocals "Peace" to the racy "my oblivion", the songs are cut out real good. When one look at the lyrics, the first thing it hits you is it's gospel quality.
If you further dwell into it, then you start realising the certain questions that he is raising to the Lord. The question themselves are not revealed and it gives a feeling as if Alan is refering to an earlier question left un-answered by the Almighty. Or its possible that Alan knows he will not get a reply and he is reminding himself of the same.
The songs "Let me love you" and "My Oblivion" has these qualities. On the other hand, songs like "Waiting" has the sing-along and sunshine type of melody. The lyrics has Alan giving into the eternity. "Peace" could be appropriate for the present situation Manipur where there is uncertainty all around and the only peace is within oneself.
