KCC beat PSC by five wickets in MNCA Superplate Tournament

KCC clinched a commanding five-wicket win over PSC in their MNCA Superplate Tournament Group B tie on Wednesday.
It was KCC's fourth straight victory as the Kongba Bazar side topped their group with eight points.
KCC dismissed PSC in 29.5 overs for 135 as Yumnam Sheiteendra and Hijam Boba claimed two scalps each, with Wahengbam Somorjit, Singthoi Nandeibam and Chumthao Dk accounting for one wicket apiece to lay the foundation for their side's victory.
Khuraijam Sagarjit (40), Laimayum Prasantajit Sharma (32) and Thokchom Lellel (28) were the only performers in the PSC innings riddled with three ducks.
The innings also saw three of PSC batsmen get dismissed for 1 and two others for 2 .
In their response, KCC needed 21.5 overs to over-haul the target for the loss of five wickets.
The contributors in KCC's dominant win were Nongmaithem Dijraj (31), Kisan Wahengbam (28), Nameirakpam Arbin (24 not out), Keisham Mranojit (16), Ningombam Tony (11), Hijam Boba (7) and Keisham Basantakumar (4 not out) .
For PSC, Ningthoujam Ranjan and Moirangthem Thomson snapped two wickets each as Lamabam Martin bagged one.
Hijam Boba was adjudged the man of the match for his two wickets in 4.5 overs and seven runs off 4 balls.
