State boys & girls win 11 gold medals on Day 4 of Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship

Manipur enjoyed another strong showing on the fourth day of the 22nd Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship 2022 at Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
The state boys and girls collected 15 medals including nine gold on Wednesday.
Wangthoi Thanjam, Britain Mangsatabam and Nikhil Nongmaithem shone brightest for Manipur with two gold medals each.
Wangthoi claimed his yellow metal both in boys' Daoshu and Gunshu events and Britain too won both girls' Daoshu and Gunshu competitions while Nikhil bagged his gold medals in boys' Jianshu and Qiangshu events.
Other top finishers for Manipur were Khuraijam Yaipha-ba (boys' Taichiquan), Laitonjam Linthoinganbi (girls' Taichiquan), Pinky Leimapok-pam (girls' Jianshu), Sapam Lanchenba Singh (boys' Nan-dao) and Sapam Lanchenba (boys' Nangun).
On the other hand, Jupiter Elangbam took two silver medals after coming off sec ond best in boys' Daoshu and Gunshu events.
Athoibi (girls' Nangquan) and Dellina Pechimayum (girls' Daoshu) were other silver medallists in the day's competition.
