PTRC crush KASC by 139 runs in U-16 boys cricket

Imphal, February 07 2022:
PTRC (Patsoi) notched up a comprehensive 139-run victory over KASC (Khomidok) in the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy on Monday at ABA Ground.
Put in to bat, PTRC accumulated a competitive total of 230/5 in 30 overs.
The Patsoi side's innings revolved around their trio of Nongdamba Chingakham, Salam Richie and Tamarland Pheiroijam.
Nongdamba impressed with an unbeaten 87/58, Richie did his bit with 65/59 and Tamarland made 21 not out.
In reply, KASC were bundled out for 91 in 25.1 overs.
Md Sharif Khan (28) and Md Rahis Khan (19) were notable run-getters for the Khomidok side.
PTRC's fine bowling display saw Tamarland and Nongdamba equally share six wickets between them as Richie snapped two wickets and Malangba and Lamnganba accounted for one each.
Earlier, Md Rahis Khan claimed two wickets while Md Sakif Hussain and Md Sharif Khan took one apiece for KASC.
