USA beat SSC 2-1 in IE 1st Divn League

Imphal, September 04 2019: USA, Khurai sealed a narrow 2-1 win over SSC, Porompat in today's league match of the ongoing Moirangthem Ibobi Singh Memorial First Division Football League Tournament organised by Imphal East District Football Association (IEDFA) at NESU Ground, Khurai.

USA and SSC started the game cautiously and deterred one another from taking the lead till the end of the first half.

USA however entered the field with more purpose in the second half and drew first blood in the 57th with the help of Rahul before Sonit Thapa doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 65th minute.

SSC, despite their numerous chances, managed only one goal in the 75th minute through Zave and helped finish the game 1-2 .

Next Matches: NIVSO vs AFC and NESU vs CSC.
