UTA dominate Day 2 of 16th Governor's Taekwondo Cup

Imphal, May 13 2022:
Union Taekwondo Academy (UTA) dominated the second day of the 16th Governor's Taekwondo Cup 2022 at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium on Friday.
UTA emerged as the most successful team of the day by racking up four gold, five silver and three bronze medals.
Among the top finishers of the team were Chanam Jayarag Chanu (sub-junior girls' event), L Nonglei Khumancha (junior boys'), Priyadarshini Mayengbam (junior girls') and Thokchom Inaobi (senior women's).
UTA's five silver medals came courtesy of N Silheiba (senior men's), Ngambaton Ahanthem (sub-junior boys'), Athokpam Roshan (cadet boys'), Laishram Al lesia (cadet girls') and Sapam nancy (senior women's).
On the other hand, Silheibi Asem (sub-junior girls'), Monisa Shamurailatpam (sub-junior girls') and Ningthem Chanu Nganthoi (junior girls') bagged a bronze each for UTA.
Pakhangba Taekwondo Academy (PTA), meanwhile, ended their day's campaign with four gold medals and five bronze.
PTA won their yellow metal through W Binorjil (sub-jr boys'), Naorem Lingjel (sub-jr girls'), S Tondonba (cadet boys') and Mayanglambam Bansika (cadet girls'), while Vivek (senior men's), S Lanchenbi (cadet girls'), W Jeslyn Devi (cadet girls'), Ph Neerash (cadet boys') and S Punshiba (sub-jr boys') took the bronze medals.
SAIRC won two gold, one silver and three bronze medals; TTS (Nambol) bagged two gold and one silver; NSA claimed one gold, four silver and two bronze; and TTS (Marjing) claimed one gold and two bronze.
