1st Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament BLUE HAWK, AL-AMEEN secure huge wins

BLUE HAWK, Khurai and AL-AMEEN, Lillong today enjoyed huge wins against their rivals in Group D league matches of the Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament organised by Langthabal Sporting Club, Langthabal at Langthabal Public Ground.
Yesterday, REYS and CHAMP secured 67 runs victories against PTTC and SSU at the same ground.
In today's first match, AL-AMEEN chose to bat first and posted a total of 130 runs for 6 in 20 overs to beat CRAU, Khamnam Bazar by 61 runs.
Al Basid who faced 41 balls in the first innings went close to half century but was dismissed at 47 runs.
Mujibur Rahman was also in the best form and contributed 38 runs in this innings while Naosad made 9 runs off 16 balls.
Premjit of CRAU who claimed 2 wickets and offered 15 runs was the best CRAU had today followed by Ajay who also picked 2 wickets in 4 overs.
In reply, CRAU, Khamnam Bazar stumbled down at just 69 runs for all wickets down in 19.1 overs.
Millan's 19 runs in 15 balls was the highest for the Khamnam Bazar side while compatriots Mitkumar and Hirachandra scored 15 and 10 runs to help reach 69 .
Habibullah of the Lillong side picked a record 3 wickets in 1.1 overs while Abdullah also claimed 1 wickets in 4 overs offering just 6 runs.
They maintained a perfect economy and also were successful in breaking partnerships by taking wickets in quick succession.
Al Bashid was declared man of the match.
In another similar match, BLUE HAWK, Khurai outclassed PCC, Mayaikoibi by 80 runs.
BLUE HAWK who won the toss set up a huge target of 193 runs for 2 in 20 overs.
Rahul shone today to score an outstanding 91 runs in 52 balls, the highest so far in this tournament.
Samson scoring 24 runs in 35 balls was the second highest scorer for the Khurai side in the first innings.
Santosh of PCC claimed the two wickets of BLUE HAWK in this innings.
In response, PCC slumped to 113 runs for 9 in 20 overs.
Bhogendro tried his best to lift PCC but was dismissed making 37 runs in 35 balls.
Rohit contributed 16 runs off 17 balls in this chase.
Ozzy and Rahul who picked two wickets each today played a crucial role limitting the chase to 113 runs against 193 they piled up in the first innings.
Rahul who scored 91 runs and claimed two wickets was declared man of the match.
Tomorrow, PTRC, Patsoi will play PSC, Khuyathong in a Group A league match while YAC, Yaiskul and TRAU, Kwakeithel will lock horns in another Group A league match.
