KSC, SYMROPIA ease to wins in State League

KSC and SYMROPIA enjoyed a comfortable victories in the Sunday's matches of the 2nd AMFA Cup played at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.
KSC started the day with a dominant 4-1 win over LYGSEDA as Singdoulien scored a brace for the winning side.
KSC needed just four minutes from kickoff to get ahead of their opponents with Lungunhao on target.
Things got from bad to worse for LYGSEDA when Singdoulien doubled the lead for KSC in the 30th minute before the KSC striker went on to scored his second goal in the 43rd minute via a penalty kick as his side went into the second half with a 3-0 advantage.
LYGSEDA pulled a goal back in the 66th minute through Hengoumang and that was as far as they could go as KSC added a goal in the 81st minute courtesy of Haotinsem to run our dominant 4-1 winners.
SYMROPIA, meanwhile, handed LYCC a 7-2 thrashing in the second match.
Manglianthang Simte stole the show with a four-goal salvo as Peter Khumrolian chipped in with a double in their team's thumping victory.
It was LYCC who took the lead early after SK Bunghong Lamkang found the back of the net nine minutes into the game.
However, SYMROPIA responded with a flurry of goals to stamp their authority.
Manglianthang evened the score in the 11th minute and Peter Khumrolian made it 2-1 in favour of SYMROPIA in the 38th minute before the team rained on goals in the second half.
It was Mangminthang again as he upped the ante with a 62nd-minute strike and Peter followed suit in the 67th minute to put their side 4-1 up.
Mangminthang continued his scoring spree with another double (75, 83) and rounded off their collection before Bunghong netted his second goal in the 84th minute for LYCC but it was too little, too little.
