Biramangol College wrap up MU Inter College Shooting with highest 4 medals

Imphal, October 19 2018:
Biramangol College collected 4 medals including 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze to become the college with the highest medal haul in the Manipur University Inter-College Shooting Competition for Men and Women hosted by Manipur College under the aegis of Manipur University Sports Committee.
Last Day Highlight
KP College's Kangjam Amarjit won the 10 m 0.177 Peep Sight Air Rifle competition gold by shooting a total of 281 points while BM (Biramangol) College's Moirangthem Vishwamitra gathered 247 points and Law College's Gajendra managed 222 points to win the silver and the bronze medal respectively.
In the 10 m men's individual Air Pistol event, BM College's Khagemba Loukrakpam shot 278 points to win the gold medal while Tonanbam Kunison of Kha Manipur College shot 274 to finish with the silver metal.
The bronze medal went to BM College Huidrom Suman who shot 210 points today.
In the 10 m women's individual 0.177 Peep Sight Air Rifle event, SK College's Shamurailatpam Tulky hit 293 points to fetch the gold medal.
Moirang College's Wahengbam Juliana secured a close 290 points to win the silver medal in this event while Pukhrambam Premlata of Manipur College finished third with 212 points in her name to win the bronze medal.
In the 10 m women's individual Air Pistol event staged today, Yaiphabi Telem of Modern College claimed the gold by shooting 281 points while Minerva Loubuktongbam of MB college shot 248 points to settle with the silver medal.
Pukhrambam Sofia of Law College secure 247 points to grab the bronze medal in this event today.
