LSC, Sunshine Angels script contrasting wins

Lamka Sports Club (LSC) got their campaign off to a rollicking start as they staged a second-half comeback to clinch a hard-fought 3-1 victory over PLL Football Academy in today's opening match of FootGal (5 A side girls Futsal) 2019 organised by District Administration, Churachandpur at Rayburn High School campus.
The much anticipated opening match tonight began on a high note as the clash between two hopefuls Lamka Sports Club and PLL Football Academy witnessed an intense battle as the two sides were on a frantic search for an early breakthrough.
It was Neihoilhing Lhouvum who put PLL FA in the driver's seat as she booted home the opener in the 4th minute of the game.
Even as LSC pressed forward, PLL FA defenders picked and thwarted their rival forwards' attempts with ease and the two sides went to the break with the 1-0 lead intact.
The two sides restarted with renewed vigour and the second half saw both teams at their attacking best.
LSC's efforts paid dividends as Lalvarmoi found the back of their rivals' net to restore parity in the 22nd minute.
Bimola Chanu of LSC was banged on target to hand a lead to the LSC in the 25th minute before Baby Lalchhandami capped a magnificent finish in the 33rd minute thus earning full points to LSC.
Meanwhile, the second match of the day saw Sunshine Angels drubbing SVEEP 18+ by a comprehensive margin of 13 goals to nil.
Monika Devi (15th, 16th, 24th, 25th, 34th , 37th, 38th and 39th) and Moilunsiam (20th, 26th, 28th, 30th, and 32nd) took turn to hit the back of their rivals' net to script convincing victory.
Rayburn FC overwhelmed Koinonia 3-0 in the last match of the day thanks to Mawibiakching (3') and Mercy Lalsang (6', 26') .
