Manipur crash out of BC Roy Trophy

Manipur who beat Daman and Diu by a narrow 1-0 margin in their first Group D league match of the ongoing National Football Championship for BC Roy Trophy 2017-18 (Tier-II) organised in Himachal Pradesh shared spoils today with Jammu and Kashmir to bow out of the tournament.
Manipur and Jammu and Kashmir today played out a 1-1 draw to secure 4 points each from 1 win and 1 draw but the latter will advance into the quarter final as group leader by virtue of higher goal aggregate.
J&K opened the account early in the 6th minute through Sakir Ahamad while the equaliser was struck by W Tejkumar of Manipur
in the 41st minute.
