AMFA Cup : AMFA serves explanation call to LYCC

The All Manipur Football Association has served an explanation call to LYCC for featuring a player who had been named for State team pre National Games coaching, in a AMFA Cup match against KSC
on September 17 .
The conduct of LYCC to feature Armstrong Dilbung Ramungnao (Jr No 21) in the said match violated an AMFA memorandum dated September 14 and thus an executive council of AMFA called for a meeting in this regard today.
After a discussion, the council decided to serve an explanation call to the erring club asking why disciplinary actions should not be initiated against them for going against the memorandum.
The explanation is to be reached to the general secretary of AMFA, L Jyotirmoy Roy before the next match.
Maintaining that an ex parte decision shall be taken against LYCC if they fail to furnish their explanation in time, AMFA further warned selected players of 36th National Games not to participate in any tournament during the coaching camp and National Games.
AMFA appoints four assistant secretaries
The All Manipur Football Association has appointed four assistant general secretaries with a bid to ensure a more smooth running of office administration and its activities.
The addition of four assistant general secretaries came after an executive council meeting of the body held today.
The newly added assistant general secretaries, as per an office memorandum of AMFA, are Mohd Zane Khan, S Jiten Meitei, M Tombimacha Singh and Th Ojit Singh.
