Chandel, November 17 2015:
Manipur Terriers Football Team lifted the 2nd Chandel DC Cup 2015 after defeating Ksenpa United FC in a tie breaker.
In the Final match played on Monday at Maha Union Higher Secondary School's ground in Chandel District Head Quarters, the Manipur Terriers Football Team defeated Ksenpa United FC by 6-5 goals in a tie breaker after both sides scored 3-3 goals in the full time.

The closing function of the tournament hosted by Lamphoupasna Youth Club was graced by Chandel's DC Robert Singh Kshetrimayum, SP Chandel N.Herojit Meetei and Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO) President Ws.
Kanral Anal as the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively.
While ST.
Romel, Executive Member of All Manipur Football Association graced as the Special Invited Guest.
In the first half of the match, Ksenpa United FC dominated the match after Thangtinlen Haokip (20) and Bungthot (8 ) score one goal each respectively in 20th minutes and 34th minutes for the Ksenpa United FC.
Later on, Manipur Terriers Football Team's Mataimo (17) also struck the opponent's net in the 26th minutes too.
In the second half, Manipur Terriers'Football Team's scored its second in 54th Minutes by Lalroutfel (12) and the third goals by Angkhul (4) in the 64th minutes which was later equalized by Thangtinlen Haokip (20) of Ksenpa United FC in the 76th minutes.
And the match ended with the score line of 3-3 goals each in the normal full time.
However, the Final match was won by Manipur Terriers Football Team by 6-5 goals in a tie breaker after two players of Ksenpa United FC failed to score in the penalty shoot-out despite the Ksenpa United FC goalkeeper drive and save a ball from Manipur Terriers's player.
The winner team - Manipur Terriers Football Team went home richer with a cash prize of Rs.65,000/- only and the Runner up Ksenpa United FC contended with a cash prize of Rs.40000/- only.
While the two semi finalists, Kathumpam FC and Kings eleven chandel walk away with a cash prize of Rs.10, 000/- each.
Ibungcha of MTFT, Db Angpol of Ksenpa United FC, Thangtinlen Haokip of Ksenpa United FC (9 goals) and Kings Eleven Chandel were adjusted as the Best Goal Keeper, Best player, Top Goal Scorer and Best Team with a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/- each.
