Transformation Challenge changes many lifestyles

Apart from shaping body, the forthcoming 4th Transformation Challenge of Apunba Fitness Centre (AFC) could renovate the lifestyles of many contestants.
The Challenge, which is being conducted under the theme 'healthy person can success in every step', is the first time not only in Manipur but also in India.
'Before entering this transformation challenge, my body weight was 77 kg but now I have reduced 20 kg of it and now my weight is 57', revealed Thounaojam Ongbi Asha Devi, who is also taking part in the transformation Challenge, in an exclusive meeting with this newspaper.
If we want to live in a healthy and happy life, every person needs to join this transformation challenge organized by AFC, she opined.
When I was playing aerobic, it could only decrease 7kg but transformation challenge keeps me in a desirable body shape.
Many diseases are the outcome of obesity.
During my overweight days, I faced problems of tension, sluggishness, drowsiness, etc.
but now I can overcome it.
Either fat or thin, if you do the routine exercises of the AFC, you can lead to a healthy and a happy life, she assured.
About 300 persons availed themselves of the benefits of transformation challenge every year.
38 years old, Wangkhem Ibomcha who is running a chemist shop credited the transformation challenge for giving him a new life.
He said that he wasted most of the day as he was addicted to alcohol.
After joining this programme, he can return to normal life and has abandoned all the intoxicants, he claimed.
He could not do anything actively while his weight was 95kg, but now he could do everything like a healthy person after reducing his weight to 73 kg.
One of the contestants, Leimapokpam Ranjita also expressed her success over many illnesses she had before joining the fitness programme.
Ranjita, a staff nurse at JNIMS said that one should know the ways to get sound body and sound mind only after joining transformation challenge.
She had faced many health problems like back-ache, inability to stand for long while performing her duty, etc.
But after completing the transformation challenge course, she defeated all these problems and she reduced her weight from 76 kg to 62 kg.
It may be mentioned here that, the 4th Transformation Challenge (men and women) will be held at Asha Hall on November 23.1st position holders will be honoured with a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 75,000 each, second position holders will be awarded a trophy with a cash prize Rs 50,000 each and third position holders will get a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 30,000 each.
Fourth and fifth position holders will be awarded trophies with Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
